The Coaches: Dan Durkin is in his 13th season at the helm of the Duquesne women's basketball program and as a head coach. He posts a 157-181 career mark. Durkin is a 1975 graduate of Mount St. Mary's.

Beckie Francis is in her sixth year at the helm of Oakland and the ninth as collegiate head coach. She stands 90-56 with the Golden Grizzlies and owns a career mark of 120-104. She is a 1987 graduate of Colgate.

Katie Meier is in her first season with Miami and the sixth as a head coach. She is 1-0 with the Hurricanes and is 77-45 on her career. She is a 1990 graduate of Duke.

Paula Buscher enters her sixth season at Bradley. She is 63-78 with the Braves and 106-116 over her nine-year career. She graduated from Missouri State in 1985.

The Series: This is the first meeting between Duquesne and Oakland. The Dukes have played Bradley once and lost 76-69 back on Nov. 27, 1988. Duquesne could face Miami as well, which would also mark the first meeting between the teams.

Noting the Dukes: Duquesne looks to bounce back from an 81-62 loss to Penn State this past Week at the Palumbo Center ... this weekend marks the first road trip for the Red & Blue ... DU is 1-1 entering the weekend ... the Dukes are 5-9 under Coach Durkin in in-season tournaments ... they went 0-2 in their last turkey tournament falling to Kentucky and Davidson in the 2003-04 University of San Francisco Tournament ... DU is without freshman Kristi Little who is ill ... Duquesne will face cross-town rival Pitt on Nov. 30 following this Southern trip.

At Look at the Opponents: OAKLAND enters the tourney looking for its first win as they stand 0-2 falling to UM-Milwaukee and Marquette - both on the road ... they return four starters from last year's 21-8 team ... they finished second in the Mid-Continent last year. BRADLEY is 2-0 to date taking wins over Ill-Chicago and Valparaiso ... the Braves return three starters from last year's 15-13 squad. MIAMI is 1-0 after defeating Samford Nov. 18 at home ... they return three starters from last year's 13-16 squad which finished ninth in the ACC.
