The Duquesne volleyball team (4-5) lost to cross-town foe Pitt (4-3), 3-0 at the Fitzgerald Field House. Individual game scores were 30-21, 30-26, 30-28.

Junior Diana Wuebker led the Red and Blue with 12 kills and a .370 hitting percentage followed by freshman Dana McLaughlin with 10 kills. Freshman Kristin Garnett led DU with 34 assists. Defensively, junior Stephanie Hopkins had 13 digs while senior Ashley Macko had 10.

The Dukes take to the road again on Friday, Sept. 17 as they face Cornell at 8:30 pm in their first game of the Buckenll Invitational.
