Duquesne University, which has produced at least one national Academic All-American in each of the last nine years, ranks tied for ninth among 327 NCAA Division I programs in Academic All-Americans produced since the fall of 2000.
The data, which was compiled by the Emory University sports information office, ranks the Dukes tied for 20th among the 1,037 schools that compete at the NCAA Division I, II and III levels.
Last year, Duquesne placed three student-athletes on national All-American teams in Mike Hilliard (football), Jason Kutney (men's soccer) and Ryan Bender (men's track & field/cross country).
