The Duquesne University baseball team split a doubleheader at La Salle to take two out of three in the series from the Explorers. The Dukes fell in game one, 2-1 but bounced back to take the nightcap, 10-7.

In game two, Dan Schwartzbauer was 2-5 with a home run and two RBI, Mike Grecco was 3-3with two runs scored and Corey Bugno was 1-2 with a homer and two RBI. Dave Knechtel picked up the win in relief while Mike Korzeniewski collected the save.

The Red and Blue (18-23, 9-9) return to action on Tuesday, May 11 as they face the University of Maryland at 4:00 pm in Frederick, MD.
