Duquesne University's baseball team used the long ball in defeating Virginia Tech, 17-15 Sunday afternoon.

Andy Gallina went 4-5 with three home runs and seven RBI to pace the Dukes while Luke Taggart was 3-4 with two runs scored and Joe Berletic was 2-3 with three runs scored and two RBI. Ken Strader captured the win in relief.

The Dukes return to the diamond on Saturday, March 27 as they open Atlantic 10 play at Rhode Island at noon.
