The Duquesne University men's soccer team improved to 7-5-0 overall and 3-1-0 in Atlantic 10 play with a 3-1 victory over Fordham on Rooney Field.

Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Dukes evened the game in the 57th minute as freshman Travis MacKenzie scored from close range on an assist from senior Matt Mehler. Five minutes later the Red and Blue struck again as sophomore Noah Salsi found the back of the net off an assist from junior Steve Mellor to take the lead and end the day's scoring.

Duquesne outshot the Rams, 21-11 and had an 8-5 advantage in corner kicks.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Oct. 15 as they host George Washington at 7:30 pm on Rooney Field.
