Errors Costly in 9-6 Loss to Cleveland State

The baseball team lost to visiting Cleveland State, 9-6 Tuesday afternoon at Duquesne Field. The Dukes committed a season-high seven errors, which led to six unearned runs and helped contibute to the defeat.

On offense, freshman Steve Maiolo was 4-4 with an RBI and a stolen base for the Red and Blue while senior John Rieg turned in a 3-4 performance.

The Dukes return to action tomorrow, Wednesday, April 16 as they travel to Bucknell for a 1:00 pm double-header.
