Duquesne's ice hockey team upped its record to 7-1 as they took two contsts from West Virginia this weekend. The Red and Blue defeated the Mountaineers 8-1 on Saturday in Morgantown and 2-1 on Sunday on Duquesne's home ice.
Scott Patterson recorded three goals and an assist on Saturday to lead the Dukes while also scoring the game-winner on Sunday. Mike Papciak added two goals and two assists in Saturday's blowout.
The Red and Blue return to action this weekend as they travel to Philadelphia to face West Chester and Villanova.
