Duquesne University Director of Athletics Brian Colleary announced today the resignation of assistant women's basketball coach, Krista Jay. Jay has resigned to accept a teaching job in the Fairfax, VA area.

Jay served as an assistant coach under Dan Durkin since the 2001-02 season. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from George Mason in 2000 with a specialization in physical education. Jay will teach physical education and serve as an assistant girls varsity basketball coach at Annandale High School in Virginia.

A search for her replacement will begin immediately.
