Senior catcher Gary Lee was named to the Atlantic 10 Baseball All-Conference Second Team.

Lee was second on the team in batting average (.343), home runs (7), doubles (14) and RBI (30).

The Dukes finished the 2002 campaign with a 26-23 overall record under ninth-year head coach Mike Wilson, setting the school record for wins in a season.
