Football1:00 pm - ECAC Classic at Albany, NY
preview Duquesne's fourth straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Football League title takes them to the 2002 ECAC Classic against the Northeast Conference champion, Albany, on Saturday. The undefeated Dukes recorded a school record 11 win season with last weekend's 27-0 win over Fairfield.
DU, the nation's top I-AA mid-major team, this week moved up to 21st place in the I-AA polls. A big reason for the Red and Blue's success is DU's defensive squad which held league opponents to 27 points in eight games and is the only Div. I or I-AA team to keep all opponents from scoring 100 points. Duquesne's 11 foes have scored a total of 91 points.
