Jenny Chiang, DO, is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) doctor with specialization in Sports Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Department of PM&R.

Dr. Chiang is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Portland, Maine. She completed her internship at Yale New Haven Medical Center in Waterbury, Conn., followed by a residency and sports medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md., where she served as Chief Resident.

Utilizing diagnostic and advanced interventional ultrasound procedures with orthobiologics, Dr. Chiang is dedicated to serving student-athletes and individuals of all abilities to achieve peak performance and recover from injuries through holistic, personalized and evidence-based care. Notably, she has served as a volunteer physician for USA Climbing regionals/divisionals/nationals and the USA Paraclimbing Nationals in Maryland, as well as the IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Thanks to an extensive research background throughout her medical training, Dr. Chiang has published book chapters, numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented findings at national conferences. Her research interest area is in performing arts medicine, brain injury rehabilitation and sports-related concussion.
