Amy Allen enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Duquesne track & field program in 2025-26, working primarily with the mid-distance and long sprint groups.
A former standout for the Dukes, Allen returns to the Bluff after a decorated four-year career in the Red and Blue. She was a six-time medalist across Atlantic 10 indoor and outdoor championships and a seven-time ECAC Championship qualifier. A member of the gold-medal-winning 4x400m relay in 2023-24, Allen finished her career ranked among the top five in program history in the 400m (indoor and outdoor), 500m (indoor), 4x100m (outdoor), 4x200m (outdoor), 4x400m (indoor and outdoor), and distance medley relay (indoor).
In the classroom, Allen was a consistent member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and a two-time A-10 All-Academic Indoor Team selection.
A native of South Fayette, Pa., Allen is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Duquesne.
