Erica Marshall enters her third season as an assistant coach at Duquesne in 2020.

Under her watch, the Dukes have had two Atlantic 10 Second Team All-Conference selections in Casey Aukst (2018) and Deena DeBaldo (2019).

Marshall made her return to Pittsburgh in February 2018 after spending three seasons at Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.

In her final season at Bryant, Marshall was part of a staff that helped the Bulldogs to a program-best 11 wins and and 162 RPI.

Prior to her stint in Smithfield, Marshall was an assistant at her alma mater, Towson, for the 2014 season, where she helped the Tigers to their first Colonial Athletic Association tournament berth. Towson recorded eight shutouts, which was the second-most in program history, in 2014

Marshall, who hails from nearby Upper St. Clair, Pa., began her coaching career at Brown in 2012. In her two seasons with the Bears, she coached nine All-Ivy League players and helped lead the 2013 team to 10 wins including a 4-2-1 Ivy League record - the program's best in 13 years.

Marshall, a four-year starter, finished her Towson career with 55 points. Named the team's Offensive MVP and CAA Second Team All-Conference in 2009, she led the Tigers in goals in three of her for seasons. She stayed aboard as a student assistant in 2010 after her eligibility was exhausted.

Marshall played professionally for one season in 2011 with the ASA Chesapeake Charge in the Women’s Premier Soccer League. The team won the Region I U23 Championship and advanced to the WPSL Final Four East Playoffs.
