Duquesne University Athletics

JD Mostard joined the Duquesne University Sports Medicine Staff in August 2018 working with Women’s Basketball and in 2019 started working with men’s soccer and women’s swimming and diving.  

He assumed the title of Associate Head Athletic Trainer in July of 2023.

Mostard completed his Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education at Edinboro University in 2014 and completed his Masters of Athletic Training from Gannon University in 2017.

Prior to working at Duquesne University, Mostard worked as the Athletic Trainer at Penn State Greater Allegheny working with all 9 sports teams the program offered.

He is certified by the Board of Certification and is licensed to practice as an athletic trainer in the state of Pennsylvania by the state Board of Medicine.
