Maggie Burnham, a former volleyball player at Duquesne, is in her fourth season as assistant director of student services for men’s and women’s basketball.
In her current position, Burnham works one-on-one with men’s and women’s basketball student-athletes in providing a blueprint for a successful academic career.
Burnham originally enrolled at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., where she competed as a member of the volleyball team while completing her undergraduate degree in human development and psychological services.
The Toledo, Ohio native transferred to Duquesne in the summer of 2015 and played for the Dukes during her final season of eligibility. She completed her master’s degree in leadership at DU in 2017.
Burnham was a four-year letterwinner and three-year captain for Saint Ursula Academy in Toledo, where she helped lead the Arrows to the 2010 Division I state championship. She was a second team all-state selection as a senior.
