Duquesne Mobile Ticketing

Beginning in the fall of 2020, Duquesne Athletics will move to digital ticketing. Outlined below is information regarding the transition to digital ticketing and FAQ's to help you throughout the process.

The shift to mobile-only ticketing not only will provide a safer environment for fans, offering a fully contact-less entry into venues and the ability to transfer tickets electronically but also allow for the easier transferring of tickets to other fans. Mobile tickets also deliver an added layer of security, guarding against the production of fraudulent and counterfeit tickets.

My Account – You'll always have your tickets with you!

Biggest advantage of digital tickets? You will NEVER "leave your tickets at home" or "bring the wrong tickets to the game" again! As long as you remembered your phone, you can access all of your tickets, any time!

If you added them to your Wallet (Apple or Android) they will always be there until you remove them!

If you didn't add them to your wallet and you can't find your email, CLICK HERE to login to your account, and your tickets are listed there. You can add them to your wallet, transfer them to family/friends, or resell them.

Special Notes:
Mobile tickets will arrive as a link via email. All tickets for the same event will be sent in one email. To ensure that you receive the email containing your tickets, please add our email address, ticketservices@duq.edu, to your approved spam filter list. Please set your email to accept attachments. If you do not receive the email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

Mobile tickets may be used on any type of smartphone with a Mobile ticket viewer (such as Apple, Android, Windows, etc.). Wallet files may only be used on Apple iPhones with the Wallet app.

Always download tickets to your device once you receive them due to connectivity at the stadium or arena.

  • You will receive an email to the email address listed on the ticket account with the subject: "Your Duquesne Athletics Mobile Tickets Have Arrived!" 
    • Note: If you cannot locate in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folders.
  • An individual link will be sent for each event in which you purchased tickets. Click the game link to the tickets you would like to download.
  • Download tickets to your Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Pay Wallet (Android).
  • Click "add" in the upper right-hand corner to add to your wallet.
    • Note: By downloading tickets to your wallet prior to entering the stadium gates, cell phone reception and Wi-Fi connectively is not required to access the tickets in your wallet.
  • The ticket will be added to your wallet for access to your tickets to scan at the gate.
    • Note: Please do not print the digital tickets on paper as the ticket and barcode is only made to scan on a digital device.

Q: Why is Duquesne Athletics transitioning to mobile ticketing?

Flexibility
  • Real-time changes to event dates and times are reflected immediately on digital tickets. Mobile tickets also allow guests to manage their tickets from their mobile phone 24/7 with "My Account". That includes seamless transfer and resell of tickets.
Ease of Use
  • Through "My Account", you always have your tickets on you. You may download, transfer or resell your tickets at any time. It also adds a layer of security, guarding against the production of fraudulent and counterfeit tickets.

Q: How do Mobile Tickets work?
For Wallet, you will receive an email with a link for each ticket ordered along as well as one mobile ticket per event. (For example, if you purchased four tickets, you need to click the icon "Add to Apple Wallet" on all four tickets.)

The ticket that is emailed to you is a valid ticket. Make sure you protect it like you would any other ticket. Each ticket contains a unique code that is scanned at the event. If any copies are made of the ticket, only the first scan will be allowed entry. If a unique code has already been scanned, the attendant will be alerted and entry will not be permitted. 

Q: What does digital-only mean? What are my ticket options?
Digital-only means tickets will no longer be printed on hard ticket stock. Fans can choose from two options: mobile tickets or print-at-home PDF tickets. Mobile tickets can be downloaded to your phone. PDF tickets can be printed on paper at home and presented at the stadium. PDF tickets can also be shown on your smartphone by enlarging the barcode area.

Q: What software or hardware do I need?
Mobile tickets may be used on any type of smartphone with a Mobile ticket viewer (such as Apple, Android, Windows, etc). Wallet files may only be used on Apple iPhones with the Wallet app. Apple Wallet comes pre-installed as an App from Apple. Wallet is only available on iPhone devices running iOS 6 or later. iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6 pre-installed, whereas iPhone 3GS devices or later can be upgraded to iOS 6.
  • Please note: iPads DO NOT support Wallet regardless of iOS versions. 
Q: How do I manage my tickets on my computer?
You can access the Duquesne Account Manager by Clicking Here. Through the Account Manager, you will have the ability to:
  • Reserve your Tickets
  • Transfer tickets to Friends, Family, or Clients
  • Update Account Information
Q: How do I print my PDF Tickets?
When signed in to the Duquesne Account Manager site, click on Manage Tickets. From there, you will be able to print your tickets. We recommend using regular 8.5"x11" white paper.

Q: What if I don't have a printer at home?
If you don't have a printer, we recommend using the mobile option available. This saves you time and money. You can simply download the ticket(s) to your phone.

Q: Why haven't I received my Mobile Tickets?
  • Make sure you have used the correct email address.
  • Check your junk mail folder.
  • Make sure that your spam guard and junk mail settings allow you to receive emails with attachments.
  • Be sure to add our email address, ticketservices@duq.edu, to your list of trusted email addresses.
  • Please allow at least one hour for your emails to arrive. All tickets will be sent out at least 48 hours prior to the event. *Basketball tickets will be delayed at this time.
