Before Duquesne
- Swam at Chantilly for head coach James MacKenzie
- Posted a Virginia High School all-time state record time of 1:43.37 in the 200 medley relay
- Placed sixth in the 100 back at the Virginia High School League 6A State Championship in 2018
- Was an All-Met honorable mention selection
- Also member of the Machine Aquatics National Team for head coach Dan Jacobs
- Was also a thrower for the track & field team
