Farwell made history as the first Duquesne student-athlete in any sport to earn a national player of the year honor when she was named National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Player of the Year in April of 2022.

Farwell finished her career joining Korie Hlede (four-time honorable mention in women's basketball from 1995-98) as the only other four-time All-American in school history. Farwell was an honorable mention pick in 2017-18 and a second team honoree in both 2018-19 and 2019-20.


As a Graduate Student (2021-22)
  • Became the first student-athlete in school history to earn a national player of the year honor when she was named Player of the Year by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA).
  • Is the second four-time All-American in school history (honorable mention in 2018, second team in 2019 and 2020 and first team in 2022).
  • Earned First Team NTCA and National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA) honors in 2022. She is the first bowler in DU history to earn a NCBCA All-American honor.
  • Advanced to the final of the 2022 Intercollegiate Singles Championship (ISC).
  • Was dominant in 2022 in posting a nation's-best .975 Player Composite Performance Index (PCPI). The PCPI is a metric that combines identified categories and compares student athlete performance.
  • Led the nation with a 21.45 overall average per frame. She also posted an 89.2 fill percentage and converted a nation's best 90.7 percent of makable spares.
  • Earned NEC Bowler of the Week five times in 2021-22.
  • Rolled a program-best 246.1 in seven games at NEC Meet #2 (including a 277 vs. Sacred Heart, 258 vs. FDU, 248 vs. St. Francis Brooklyn, 246 vs. Mount St. Mary's and a 243 vs. Saint Francis U).
  • Had her top game - a 278 vs LIU - at the NEC Championship.
  • Finished 2021-22 with a 220.1 average in 37 games. It was the top USBC season average in school history.
  • Named to the NTCA All-Academic Team.
  • NCBCA Scholar-Athlete Award winner.
  • Was named to both the NEC Commissioner's and Academic Honor Rolls.
  • Posted a 205.0 career average in 139 games.
  • Had five first place tournament finishes in her career.
  • Was named Duquesne's 2021-22 Female Student-Athlete of the Year.

As a Senior (2020-21)

  • Averaged 182.1 in nine games before missing the remainder of the season due to injury.
  • Had a high game of 209 vs. Coppin State at the James Brown Invitational.
As a Junior (2019-20)
  • Named NTCA Second Team All-American.
  • First Team All-NEC.
  • Two-time NEC Bowler of the Week (2/19 & 2/26).
  • Finished sixth nationally in traditional average at 210.85.
  • Also ranked 6th in the nation in Player Composite Performance Index (PCPI).
  • Tied Mercyhurst’s Haley Youker for most event wins in the nation with three: Bud Whitman Memorial (218.4), James Brown Invitational (223.4) & Hawk Flight Invite (242.5).
  • Also placed first at the USBC American Heartland (207.0).
  • Had a team-high five 240+ games with a season-best 267 in the bye round of the James Brown Invitational.
  • Had three games over 250 (259 vs. Mercyhurst, 259 vs. New Jersey City and 255 vs. #4 Vanderbilt) on her way to a first-place finish with a 242.5 average at the Hawk Flight Invite.
As a Sophomore (2018-19)
  • Named NTCA Second Team All-American.
  • NEC Bowler of the Year.
  • First Team All-NEC.
  • Five-time NEC Bowler of the Week (10/18, 12/5, 2/13, 2/22 and 2/27).
  • Ranked ninth nationally in Player Composite Performance Index (PCPI) at 91.66 percent. The PCPI is a measure that combines the identified categories "percentage of competitors that a bowler has outperformed" within that category.
  • Was seventh nationally in scoring average per frame (20.304), overall strike percentage (50.4%) and traditional format strike percentage (49.7%).
  • Finished 12th nationally in individual frame fill percentage (86.2%).
  • Was 10th nationally in baker anchor bowler 10th frame double percentage (27.7%).
  • Named Bud Whitman Memorial MVP.
  • Posted a team-high 200.53 average in a team-high 36 games, including four games over 250 (255 vs. Mount St. Mary’s at NEC Meet #2, 254 in the ISC Sectional, 254 in the ISC Championship qualifying round, 253 vs. LIU Brooklyn at the Hawk Classic Invitational).
  • Was second at NEC Meet #2 with a 211.8 average.
  • Placed fourth out of 109 bowlers (206.6) at the James Brown Invitational.
  • Was tied for sixth among 111 bowlers at the Hawk Classic Invitational with a 211.8 average.
  • Qualified third out of 226 bowlers at the Addison, Ill. Intercollegiate Singles Championships sectional with a 254, 215, 171, 237, 232, 165 (1274) series.
  • Qualified at the No. 5 seed (150, 234, 217, 233, 157, 254) on her way to a Top 8 finish at the ITC Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
  • Was named to the ISC Championships All-Tournament Team.
As a Freshman (2017-18)
  • Named NTCA Honorable Mention All-American.
  • NEC First Team All-Conference.
  • NEC Rookie of the Year.
  • NEC All-Rookie Team.
  • NEC Bowler of the Week (1/24).
  • Named NEC Rookie of the Week seven times (10/19, 11/1, 12/6, 1/24, 1/31, 2/14 & 2/28).
  • Ranked 23rd nationally in average per game.
  • Was 10th nationally in overall strike percentage (52.2%) and ninth in baker strike percentage (52.7%).
  • Rolled the first 300 game in program history vs. Medaille on her way to finishing third at the KU Invitational with a 228.80 average.
  • Finished 13th in her first traditional event with a 200.60 average at the Bud Whitman Invitational. Rolled a 247 vs. Chestnut Hill at the Whitman.
  • Was 21st at the Sugar Bowl Invitational with a 202.40 average including a 258 vs. Southern.
  • Finished eighth at the Virginia Union Invitational with a 190.60 average.
  • Earned a spot on Red Flash Invitational All-Tournament Team in finishing with a 207.60 average, including a 246 vs. Mt. Aloysius.
  • Was named to the All-Tournament First Team in leading DU to the Golden Bear Classic (baker) title.
Before Duquesne
  • Won the High School Bowling Girls National Championship in Smyrna, Tenn. in June of 2017. defeating a field of nearly 230 bowlers from across the country. Bested Mary Orf (O'Fallon (Ill.) HS) in the final (226-211) which concluded at 2:30 a.m.
  • Finished 25th out of 840 bowlers at the 2017 Junior Gold Championship in Cleveland, Ohio.
  • Placed second at the 2017 Storm Youth Championships in Reno, Nev.
  • Took first place at the PA State Pepsi Youth U20 Division in 2016 & 2017.
  • Was first in doubles scratch, fifth in all-events and tenth in singles at the 2017 Youth Open Championships in Cleveland, Ohio.
  • Won District III, Eastern Regional (singles and team) and Pennsylvania State titles as a senior.
  • Defeated Armstrong's Olivia Edmonds (233-170) to win the 2017 PA State Championship. She finished with six strikes in her final seven throws to pull away. Posted a 1,290 in six qualifying games (215 average). 
  • Has rolled a pair of 300 games with a high series of 811.
  • Averaged 228.38 as a senior in the Lancaster-Lebanon League.
  • Finished her high school career with national records for high two-game series (577) and high five-game series (1,283). Also held Pennsylvania state records for high average (228.3), two-game series, four-game series (995), five-game series and six-game total (1,547).
  • Won four Pennsylvania Junior Bowlers Tournament titles.
  • Placed 144th out of 792 bowlers at the 2016 Junior Gold Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.
  • Was the 2016 PA State Pepsi Youth U20 Champion.
  • Won the PIAA State Eastern Regional Championship in March of 2016.
  • Was a four-time team captain, in leading Elizabethtown Area High School to a state championship in 2013-14 and runner-up finish in 2014-15.
  • Posted a Lancaster/Lebanon League high average of 222 as a junior on the way to winning the singles championship and being named Lancaster/Lebanon Bowler of the Year.
