Career Highlights
  • Named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 as a junior and senior.
  • Was Duquesne’s first two-time All-A-10 player since Damian Saunders in 2010 (First Team) and 2011 (Second Team).
  • Transferred to Duquesne in April of 2017 after playing in 32 games as a freshman at Miami, Ohio in 2016-17.
  • Played for DU teams that went a combined 49-31.
  • Scored 1,324 career points in 111 career games (310 points in 32 games at Miami and 1,014 points in 79 games at Duquesne).

  • Threw down a team-high 26 dunks.
  • Scored in double digits in 16 of 18 games and topped the 20-point mark four times, with all four coming in A-10 play.
  • Reached double-digits in scoring in 13 of 14 Atlantic 10 games on his way to finishing seventh in scoring (16.3 ppg.) and fifth in rebounding (7.7 rpg.) in conference play only.
  • Averaged 15.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in earning a spot on the 10-man Wade Houston Tipoff Classic All-Tournament Team. Had 12 points vs. Little Rock and added 18 points and seven rebounds in the win over UNC Greensboro. Had five dunks in the two games.
  • Scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half in posting a 19-12 double-double at GW (Jan. 3).
  • Had 19 points, including DU’s first 10 of the game, along with eight rebounds at Dayton on Jan. 13 and added 20 points vs. the Flyers at home.

As a Junior (2019-20)
  • Led the Dukes in scoring (14.3) and rebounding (8.1) and free throws made and attempted (103-of-153) on his way to earning Second Team All-Atlantic 10 and NABC All-District 4 honors.
  • Was the first Duke to earn NABC All-District honors since Bill Clark (First Team) and Damian Saunders (Second Team) in 2011.
  • Was one of two players (along with Sincere Carry) to start all 30 games.
  • Led the team in scoring 13 times and rebounding 15 times (both team highs).
  • Scored in double digits a team-high 21 times, with a team-high five 20-point games.
  • Led the team with 18 traditional three-point plays and 30 dunks. The three-point plays were the most by a Duke since Aaron Jackson’s 20 in 2009.
  • His 7’1” wingspan allowed him to block five 3-point attempts on the season.
  • Posted his first three career 20-point games in a four-game span with 21 vs. Austin Peay, 25 vs. Marshall and 26 vs. Saint Louis.
  • Entered the season with a career scoring high of 19 points.
  • Had eight double-digit rebound games including five double-doubles: 13-12 vs. Lipscomb, 19-13 vs. Radford, 25-13 vs. Marshall, 13-10 at George Washington and 16-10 vs. George Mason.
  • Earned A-10 co-Player of the Week on Dec. 16 after scoring 16 points vs. Columbia and adding 19 points and 13 rebounds vs. Radford.
  • Averaged 19.5 points and 7.0 rebounds on .722 shooting (13-of-18) at the St. Pete Shootout. Set a then-career scoring high with 21 points to go along with eight rebounds vs. Austin Peay.
  • Eclipsed his scoring high with 25 points to go along with a then career high-tying 13 rebounds vs. Marshall. Had 17 points and 10 boards in the first half alone. Also had three traditional three-point plays vs. MU.
  • Did one better with 26 points (a third career high in four games) on 8-of-10 shooting in the A-10 opener vs. Saint Louis. Added 26 more points in the rematch with the Billikens in St. Louis on Feb. 5. Drew nine fouls and went 11-of-13 from the line in game two vs. SLU.
  • Scored 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting at Rhode Island.
  • Averaged 17.0 and 7.0  rebounds in two games vs. nationally-ranked Dayton. Shot .600 (15-of-25) in the two games vs. the Flyers.
  • Went over the 1,000 career-point mark on a jumper with 12:02 left at Dayton on Feb. 22 (his 14th of 17 points).
  • Scored 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting vs. La Salle.
  • Had a career-high 14 rebounds at Fordham and followed that with a team-high 19 points vs. GW.
  • Tied his career high with 14 boards in the A-10 finale vs. Richmond.

As a Sophomore (2018-19)
  • Played in 31 of 32 games with 30 starts.
  • Finished tied for second on the team in double-digit scoring games (18) and was second in double-digit rebound games & double-doubles (4 each).
  • Fourteen of his 18 double-digit scoring games came against Atlantic 10 opponents.
  • Posted four double-doubles: vs. Maryland Eastern Shore (11-11), at Fordham (16-12), at George Mason (14-11) and vs. Saint Joseph’s at the Atlantic 10 Championship (17-10, including 9-of-12 from the foul line).
  • Had a career-high three 3-pointers - and a career high-tying 12 boards at Fordham.
  • Tied his career scoring high with 19 vs. Saint Louis (11-of-13 from the line).
  • Rejected a career-high four shots vs. VCU and scored 16 at La Salle.
  • Missed the Nov. 30 Pitt game due to illness.
  • Went 14-of-34 (.412) from the foul line in his first 12 games, before improving to 61-of-83 (.735) over the final 19 games of the season.

As a Freshman at Miami, Ohio (2016-17)
  • Was one of four players to see action in all 32 games for the 11-21 Redhawks. Made eight consecutive starts from Jan. 10 through Feb. 4.
  • Averaged 9.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in shooting 51.3 percent from the field.
  • Scored in double digits 15 times with a season high of 19 both in his first career start at Ball State on Jan. 10 and again in a start at Central Michigan on Jan. 21.
  • Posted three double-digit rebound games with 12 vs. Grambling, 11 at Ohio and 10 at Kent State. The rebound totals were part of double-doubles vs. Grambling (18-12) and at Kent State (18-10).
  • Scored 14 points in 26 minutes to help the Redhawks rally from a 15-point deficit with 11:01 left to post a 79-75 win at Akron (and then-coach Keith Dambrot). His layup with 48 seconds left gave Miami a 75-74 lead and his two free throws with 17 seconds left sealed it.

High School
  • Shawnee Mission North High School in Overland Park, Kan. (head coach Steve Stitzer).
  • Named first team all-state as senior after helping lead the program to the 2016 Kansas 6A State Championship. Averaged 19 points per game in the three-game run to Shawnee Mission North’s first state title in 63 years.
  • Finished as program’s second all-time leading scorer (to his twin brother Michael) with 1,150 points and third all-time leading rebounder with 425 boards.
  • Named first-team All-Sunflower League as senior, averaging 18.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg., and 2.3 bpg.
  • Was a three-year letterman at small forward.

Personal
  • Transferred to Duquesne in April of 2017.
  • Played with his twin brother, Michael - who is older by three minutes - at Miami in 2017. Michael is currently enrolled at Texas Southern.
  • His late father, also named Michael, played collegiately at Drake (1984). His stepfather, Henry Loring, played football at Grambling.
