Pittsburgh, Pa. – Senior setter
Chloe Wilmot of the Duquesne volleyball team was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week following her standout performance at the YSU Invitational, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
A native of Alexandria, Va., Wilmot helped lead the Dukes to a perfect 3-0 record at the YSU Invitational for the second consecutive season, earning tournament MVP honors and a spot on the All-Tournament Team. She orchestrated the Duquesne offense throughout the weekend, averaging 11.10 assists and 1.30 digs per set while totaling 111 assists, 13 digs, nine kills and four service aces across three matches.
Wilmot opened the invitational with 35 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 sweep of Canisius before following with 46 assists, four kills, four blocks and four digs in a 3-1 victory over Youngstown State. During the fourth set against the Penguins, Wilmot surpassed 3,000 career assists, becoming just the sixth player in program history to reach the milestone. She closed out the weekend with 30 helpers, three kills and three service aces in a straight-set victory over Mercyhurst.
Following the opening weekend, Wilmot leads the Atlantic 10 and ranks 16th nationally with 11.10 assists per set. Her 111 total assists are second in the conference and 38th among NCAA Division I players. The honor marks the first Atlantic 10 Player of the Week recognition of Wilmot's career.

Duquesne returns home for the first time in the 2026 season when it hosts the Chick-fil-A Robinson Classic on Friday, Sept. 4 and Saturday, Sept. 5 inside UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. The Dukes open the tournament against Eastern Michigan at 11:00 a.m. on Friday before battling Elon at 6:00 p.m. Duquesne will wrap up the weekend against local rival Robert Morris on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
