Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University acrobatics and tumbling team is ranked No. 9 in the first set of regular-season national rankings released Wednesday by the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA).
Duquesne entered the campaign at No. 7 in the preseason poll and earns a top-10 regular-season ranking for the first time in program history. In just its second season, the program is the youngest in the national rankings.
The Dukes are 2-2 on the season, coming off a season-high performance at then-No. 6 Fairmont State, where they scored 260.595. Three of their four matchups have come against top-10 nationally ranked teams, including two on the road. Duquesne also defeated No. 10 Azusa Pacific by more than 11 points at home, sweeping all six events.
A trip to No. 1 Baylor is on deck Saturday for the Dukes' fourth consecutive top-10 matchup. The regular season concludes at home against La Salle on Thursday, April 9, at 6 p.m. at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
Two more sets of regular-season rankings will be released on April 1 and April 8. The 2026 championship field and at-large qualifiers for event finals will be announced Monday, April 13.
