NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Duquesne University lacrosse team was honored as a 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad, while nine Dukes were named to the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
The Dukes earned the team honor with a 3.54 cumulative GPA, exceeding the IWLCA's requirement of a 3.2 or higher to qualify. In total, 383 programs across Division I, II, III, and NAIA received Academic Honor Squad recognition.
Individually, nine Duquesne student-athletes were among the 1,176 honorees from 124 institutions named to the Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes juniors, seniors, and graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Three Dukes — Tristen Chang, Mackenzie Leszczynski, and Hanna Pawela — earned the honor for the second consecutive year.
