JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Duquesne freshman
Louie Liberatore capped off a historic debut season on Wednesday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East First Round, held at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium.
Liberatore registered a top mark of 61.08 meters (200 feet, 5 inches), placing 36th in the men's javelin.
RESULTS
A native of Canonsburg, Pa., Liberatore made program history earlier this season when he broke the Duquesne school record with a throw of 64.50 meters (211 feet, 7 inches) at the IC4A Championships. He became the first Duke ever to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the men's javelin.
