PITTSBURGH — Duquesne lacrosse standouts Mackenzie Leszczynski and Hanna Pawela have been selected to compete in the 2025 IWLCA Division I Senior All-Star Game, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced Wednesday.

The Dukes' duo will represent the Blue Team in the annual showcase, scheduled for Saturday, May 31 at 3 p.m. at Tierney Field at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. Admission is free to the public. The game will not be streamed.

Leszczynski, a senior midfielder from Flourtown, Pa., capped her career with a third consecutive Second Team All-Atlantic 10 selection and her first A-10 All-Academic Team honor. She led Duquesne in points (61), goals (41), and draw controls (54) in 2025, finishing her career second in program history in draw controls (216), sixth in goals (144), and tied for seventh in assists (51).

Pawela, a senior defender from Glen Allen, Va., earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 and A-10 All-Academic Team honors this season, marking her third straight academic recognition. She led the Atlantic 10 in caused turnovers per game (3.00) for the third consecutive year — a mark that ranked fifth nationally — and finished second in the league in ground balls per game (3.07). Her 158 career caused turnovers are the second-most in Duquesne history and ranked third among all active Division I players in 2025.

The IWLCA Senior All-Star Game showcases top graduating student-athletes from across Division I, II, and III programs. Leszczynski and Pawela are among 44 Division I players selected to participate.
