PITTSBURGH — The Duquesne University acrobatics and tumbling team placed 27 student-athletes on the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced Sunday.

The Dukes' 27 honorees ranked fourth-most among all NCATA programs nationally.

The NCATA Academic Honor Roll recognizes all letterwinners and active roster members who achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher.

Duquesne completed its inaugural season ranked No. 12 in the country with a 4-3 overall record. The debut campaign featured a ranked win over No. 3 Gannon in the program's first-ever meet and culminated with a season-high 260.760 points in a victory over Buffalo State to secure a winning season.
