PITTSBURGH – Duquesne wide receiver Joey Isabella has been named an Associated Press (AP) FCS All-America Honorable Mention following a standout final season on the Bluff.

FULL AP RELEASE

Isabella capped a record-book career by finishing the regular season tied for first nationally in the FCS with 13 receiving touchdowns, while setting career highs in receptions (63) and receiving yards (839). The Mayfield, Ohio, native led the NEC in receptions, yards, and touchdowns, with his 13 scores standing at least seven more than any other NEC receiver.

A 2025 Walter Payton Award finalist for FCS National Offensive Player of the Year, Isabella scored in nine of 12 games and posted three 100-yard performances, including 120 yards at FBS Pitt, 153 yards against nationally ranked Lehigh, and 108 yards in the season finale at Robert Morris. He recorded multiple touchdown receptions in three games, highlighted by a three-score performance against New Haven.

Isabella closed his career on the Bluff with a five-catch, 108-yard outing at RMU, punctuated by a 71-yard touchdown, the Dukes' longest pass play of the season. He finished his career third all-time at Duquesne with 163 receptions and became one of only five Dukes to record 30 or more career receiving touchdowns, accomplishing the feat in 52 games in the Red and Blue.

A back-to-back First Team All-NEC selection at wide receiver, Isabella was also a three-time NEC Prime Performer during the 2025 season. In addition to his receiving success, he earned second team All-NEC honors as a punt returner, adding to an already decorated campaign.

Isabella becomes the 12th AP All-America honoree in program history and the first since 2018. He is also the first Duquesne football All-American from any publication since Jake Dixon, who earned second team AFCA All-America honors during the spring 2021 season.
