Dukes and Ramblers Draw, 1-1

CHICAGO, Ill. - In the second half, the Duquesne Dukes and Loyola Chicago Ramblers traded goals less than two minutes apart in a 1-1 draw from Loyola Soccer Park on Saturday.

Duquesne (4-2-2, 1-0-1 A-10) struck first in the 63rd minute with a goal from Nate Dragisich. He received the ball in the box from Tate Mohney and finished with a perfectly placed header past the right side of Ramblers goalie Aidan Crawford. Loyola Chicago (5-1-2, 1-0-1 A-10) responded minutes later with a goal of their own from Lukas Ender. Ender tapped the ball in the back of the net with his head off of the corner kick from Benni Hoffman.

Duquesne was outshot by Loyola 20-4 in the match. The shots on goal also favored the Ramblers by an 11-3 margin. However, Dukes goalkeeper Zoltan Nagy was able to keep DU right in the match charting a career-best 10 saves.

Sophomore Evan Anderson accounted for two of the three shots on goal for the Dukes, a career-high shot total. Anderson had a chance to put DU on top in the 31st minute, but his shot toward the bottom left side of the net was saved by Crawford. Dragisich's goal was the other shot on frame for the Dukes.

Duquesne was accountable for the two yellow cards awarded by the officials in this game, however the fouls were even 7-7. Anderson received a yellow card in the 34th minute and Cameron Territo was served one in the 88th minute.

Duquesne will remain on the road and head to Philadelphia on Saturday for a battle with Saint Joseph's at 5 p.m.
