PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne swimming and diving program has been named a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Under the leadership of head coach David Sheets, the Dukes posted a team GPA of 3.59 among 31 student-athletes this past spring to earn the all-america honor. DU was also named a CSCAA Scholar All-America team for the fall semester this season and has been a fixture on the list for over a decade.

The CSCAA selected 714 teams to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2023 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2023 team grade point averages and represent 17,445 student-athletes. 

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA, is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
