PITTSBURGH – Duquesne will face Dayton, Fordham, St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph's twice as part of the 2023-24 Atlantic 10 Conference schedule pairings released today.
The new pairings feature one change from last year for the Dukes, who will face Dayton twice as opposed to Massachusetts. Fordham, SBU and SJU were all two-time opponents for DU in 2023.
Dayton was a two-time opponent of the Dukes for eight-straight seasons prior to last year when the two met once at UD Arena. This will be the 18th-straight season that Duquesne and St. Bonaventure - DU's closest geographical A-10 foe - will face off twice in the regular season.
The Dukes, who tied for sixth in the A-10 last season with a 10-8 record, will also host Davidson, George Washington, La Salle, Richmond and Saint Louis in league play.
DU will travel to George Mason, Loyola Chicago, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and VCU to complete the conference schedule.
The 15 member schools will face each other once, and four schools twice, in the 18-game regular-season schedule, Home-and-home opponents were reduced from five to four with the addition of first-year A-10 member Loyola Chicago last season.
All 15 teams will participate in the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship at Brooklyn's Barclays Center March 12-17.

Keith Dambrot, who led the Dukes to a 20-13 record in 2022-23, will welcome back three starters as he attempts to lead the Dukes to back-to-back 20-wins seasons for the first time since 1970-71 and 1971-72.
This will be DU's 47th Atlantic 10 season and 108th season overall.
The complete 2023-24 conference schedule with dates and times, as well as national television information, will be announced by the Atlantic 10 at a later date.
