Amy Read qualified for the NCAA Diving Championships on Wednesday afternoon after finishing in third-place in the platform finals at the NCAA Division I Zone A Diving Qualifiers. The NCAA Championships will take place from March 15-18 in Knoxville, Tenn.
With Read automatically qualifying in the platform, she is eligible to compete in the 1m and 3m dives at the NCAA Championships due to finishing in the top-12 in both of those events this week (11th in 1m, seventh in 3m).
Read has now qualified for the NCAA Championships for the fifth-straight season (last four at Pitt).
Day Three
Read put on a show in the platform dives, finishing in third-place with an overall score of 490.50. She scored 247.45 in the prelims, which was the third-best score in that round.

Felitsky also competed in the 1m prelims, finishing with a score of 199.00.
