Alvine Announces Recruiting Class

Class features talent from eight different states

PITTSBURGH - Duquesne women's soccer head coach Al Alvine has revealed his recruiting class for this upcoming season.

This year's class features 17 commitments from eight different states, including Ohio (5), New York (4) Pennsylvania (3), Virginia (1), New Jersey (1), North Carolina (1), Florida (1), and California (1).

"We couldn't be more pleased with this group of incoming student-athletes," said Alvine. "These young ladies have already enjoyed a high level of achievement on the field, in the classroom and in the community and we are so excited that they will be bringing their diverse talents and abilities to The Bluff.  We can't wait to see the immediate and positive impact these players have on our program!"

Alvine on Brown: "Margey is a pacy and dynamic winger capable of taking players on 1 v1 or delivering quality balls into the penalty area. She has that rare ability to create goals out of nothing….for both herself and her teammates."
