CLARION, Pa. - The Duquesne swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2021 regular season with a 159-93 victory at Clarion on Saturday afternoon at Tippin Natatorium. The Dukes cap the 2021 season with a 3-1 mark in dual meet action.
Duquesne's 200 medley relay team with
Audrey Steen,
Laura Goettler,
Mara Voytek and
Leah Reisker kicked off the meet with a win in the event with a time of 1:48.09.
Goettler also bested the field in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.25) and 200 IM (2:04.40) while
Sydney Sherman won the 50 freestyle (25.17) and 100 freestyle (55.15) for the Dukes.
Reagan Linkous paced the 100 back (58.94) and 200 back (2:03.09) for Duquesne.
The Dukes added five other individual first-place finishes, including
Cateri Christinis in the 1,000 free (10:40.77)
Hanna Everhart in the 200 free (1:54.76)
Madison Dickert in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.10)
Audrey Steen in the 200 butterfly (2:06.05) and
Sophia Perez in the 100 butterfly (59.48).
The Dukes' 200 free relay team of Everhart, Sherman, Reisker and Steen closed out the meet with a victory with a mark of 1:39.00.

The Dukes travel to Geneva, Ohio for the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championship at SPIRE Institute on April 14-17. Duquesne has captured two of the last three conference titles.
