Competing in a 15-team field that featured 13 ranked programs, #11 Duquesne went 7-5 in finishing 10th at the Eastern Shore Hawk Classic held at Millsboro Lanes in Millsboro, Del. over the weekend.

In Friday's baker round, the Dukes defeated #14 Delaware State, #7 Youngstown State and #20 Maryland Eastern Shore in going 3-1 on the day.

In Saturday's traditional round, the Dukes posted wins over #6 Sam Houston State, #5 North Carolina A&T and #19 Monmouth before dropping a decision to #13 Mount St. Mary's. DU bounced back to defeat #23 LIU to go 4-1 on the day.

Three-time All-American Olivia Farwell placed third overall with a 220.20 average in five games to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Second Team. Jessica Cadez finished with a 193.80 five-game average. Jessica Sacks averaged 195.0 in three games and Shannon Small averaged 187.50 in two games. Freshman Morgan Brookover posted a 188.75 average in her four games.

The Dukes, by virtue of their two-day pin total of 9,716 (194.3), were seeded seventh entering Sunday's championship round.

DU dropped 4-3 decisions to both Mount St. Mary's and LIU, before falling to host Maryland Eastern Shore, 4.5-2.5 on day three.

The Eastern Shore Hawk Classic completes the fall schedule for the Dukes (36-19), who will be idle until the Northeast Classic on Jan. 21-23.
