PITTSBURGH The Duquesne women's soccer team looks to remain undefeated at Rooney Field on Sunday, when the Dukes battle George Mason on Sunday afternoon. The game is slated to start at 1:00 p.m. and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.

THE SERIES
  • Duquesne leads the all-time series with George Mason by a 4-1 mark facing off each season since 2014. The Patriots earned their lone win against the Dukes last season by a score of 3-0 last season in Fairfax, Va.
  • The Dukes posted a 3-2 win the last time the Patriots visited the Bluff on Oct. 5, 2017. Duquesne led 3-0, but Mason tallied scores in the 80th and 89th minutes to make things interesting. Lauren Bell scored the game-winning goal in the 79th minute.
QUICK HITS
  • The Dukes are coming off a 2-1 victory over Richmond on Thursday night in the Steel City. A Richmond own-goal and a goal from Jaimi Araujo in the 53rd minute gave the Dukes a 2-0 lead. The Spiders scored late in the 87th minute, but the Dukes would hold off a rally, defeating the Spiders by a score of 2-1.
  • The Dukes have dominated at Rooney Field as of late, posting a 4-0-1 record this season and a 17-4-4 record since the beginning of 2017. The Dukes have not lost on the Bluff in a full calendar year, as Duquesne holds a 5-0-2 record since Duquesne fell to George Washington, 1-0 on Oct. 4 2019.
  • With her assist against Richmond, DeBaldo now has 16 points on the season, which ranks second best in the A10, She also ranks second in goals scored, with seven in 2019, just one goal behind UMass' Melissa Kossler.
  • Seven different Duke goal scorers have combined for 14 goals this season, but up until Thursday, only DeBaldo (7) has registered multiple goals. Araujo recorded her second goal on the season against the Spiders, and is now second on the team with five points.
