PITTSBURGH – The Duquesne volleyball team (9-13, 3-6 A10) is back on the road this weekend, when the Dukes head to Fordham (8-12, 1-7 A10) on Friday night and then makes a stop at Rhode Island (6-14, 1-7 A10) for a Saturday night matchup. The Duquesne-Fordham match will be broadcasted on ESPN+ at 7:00 p.m. There will not be a stream available for Saturday's contest against URI, but live stats are provided.
THE SERIES
- The Dukes have dominated the series over Fordham, with the Dukes winning 36 of 41 meetings all-time, including a 17-2 mark at Rose Hill Gym. Duquesne hasn't lost to Fordham in 20 meetings, a streak which started in 2006.
- URI leads the all-time series against Duquesne by a 38-19 margin, but the Dukes swept the Rams last year at the Palumbo Center.

- Duquesne looks to make a push as the A-10 schedule winds down. The Dukes currently hold a 3-6 record in A-10 and are seventh in the standings. The top-six teams qualify for the Atlantic 10 Championships, which begins Nov. 22 at Keaney Gymnasium in Rhode Island.
- Friday's matches against Fordham and Rhode Island mark the final two regular season road matches for the Dukes. Duquesne closes the regular season at Mt. Lebanon High School against Saint Louis (Nov. 8), Dayton (Nov. 9) and La Salle (Nov. 16).
- Over the past five matches, the Dukes have been led in kills by Morgan Kelly and Summer Slade, who have both tallied an even 50 kills (2.78 kills/set). Hailey Poling has registered 106 assists in that time (5.89 a/s). Ashley Larson has posted 87 (4.83/set) digs to lead the team in that span, while Liz Wayne (16 blocks) and Ego Onu (15 blocks) have led the defense.
- Fordham halted a nine-match losing streak with a sweep over Rhode Island last Saturday.
- Rhode Island's lone win of the A-10 schedule came against Fordham on Sept. 28. The Rams have fallen in seven consecutive matches since.
