The Duquesne women's soccer team, who has not lost since Aug. 19
th, will put their two-match winning streak on the line Thursday night against Pittsburgh. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Ambrose Urbanic Field in the Petersen Sports Complex in Oakland.
 
THE SERIES 
This is the 14
th time the Dukes and Panthers have met. Pitt leads the series 9-4-0. The first match was Oct. 3, 1996, a 2-0 Duquesne victory. In 2014, the Dukes ended an 8-match Pitt winning streak with a 1-0 double overtime thriller on a goal by Caroline Lacy. In 2016, 
Kyra Murphy made eight saves in a 2-0 nothing blanking of the Panthers. 
Katie O'Connor and Melea Fabean netted goals for the Dukes. Last season, the Panthers' Vildan Kardesler scored in double overtime in Pitt's 1-0 win on Rooney Field.
