May 10, 2018 RACE NOTES - The Duquesne rowing team closes out the 2017-18 season at the 80th Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12.
- This marks the Dukes' third race on the Schuylkill River this season after competing in the Head of the Schuylkill in October 2017 before taking part in the Murphy Cup in March.
- The Dad Vail Regatta is the largest collegiate regatta in North America featuring teams from over 100 colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. This is the 80th edition of the Dad Vail.
- Duquesne is coming off a sixth-place finish at last weekend's Atlantic 10 Championship on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. Senior
Faith Caldiero (Buffalo, N.Y./Nardin Academy) earned First Team All-Conference accolades for the Dukes.
- Racing will take place on Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. and on Saturday starting at 7 a.m.
