Box Score AMHERST, Mass. - The Duquesne lacrosse team was topped by first-place Massachusetts by a score of 21-6 on Saturday afternoon in the final game of the 2018 season at Garber Field.

The Dukes close out the year with a 4-12 overall record and a 2-7 mark in Atlantic 10 play.

KEY STATS
- Junior attacker Haley Matthai (Bel Air, Md/C. Milton Wright) finished with her fourth hat trick of the season to lead Duquesne.

- Sophomore midfielder Kirsten Barnes (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) added a goal and an assist for the Dukes.

- With a goal on Saturday, senior attacker Jill Vacanti (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield) closes her career with 134 goals, good for a tie for eighth among leading goal scorers in Duquesne history.

- Sophomore midfielder Maddie Hart (Sykesville, Md./Century) had three more draw controls against UMass, giving her 80 draw controls on the season.
