QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne volleyball team improved their record to 11-6, 1-1 with a 3-0 victory over Robert Morris Tuesday night at the Palumbo Center.
Sammy Kline led all players with 26 digs - a new Duquesne 3-set record.
Molly Davet led all players with a double-double of 13 kills and 10 digs. Kori Johnson recorded a .533 hitting-percentage had and nine kills in Duquesne's straight-set match over the Colonials.
Deja Tamlin and Arden Fisher combined for 20 kills for Robert Morris.
The Dukes never trailed in the first set, and Davet's five kills brought Duquesne to a 25-22 victory. In the second set, Johnson, Davet and Maddie Bazelak combined for 13 kills as the Dukes held the lead the entire set, taking a 25-21 win.
Robert Morris gained an early advantage in the third set, however the Dukes would pull away with a 25-19 win, bringing the Dukes on top 3-0.
UP NEXT: The Dukes host VCU Friday night at 7 p.m. and will remain at home for their match against Davidson Sunday at 1 p.m.
