QUICK RECAP: Molly Davet recorded a double-double of 11 kills and 10 digs, Madelynn Burnham added 13 kills and Abbie Trzeciak had 10 kills, however the Duquesne volleyball team fell to Saint Louis 3-2 Sunday afternoon.
Saint Louis' Danielle Rygelski totaled 31 kills and eight digs. Davet's double-double is the 21st this season.
SET 1: Davet's kill broke a 22-22 tie, and the Dukes would pull away with a 25-22 set victory.
SET 2: There were 12 ties and five lead changes before Rygelski's kill would give the Billikens the edge at 24-23, bringing Saint Louis to a 25-23 set win. Rygelski led all players with nine kills and three digs.
SET 3: Burnham matched a set-high six kills as the Dukes took a 25-21 victory, leveling the match at 1-1.
SET 4:A Rygelski kill gave the Billikens a 23-22 advantage and SLU would go on to win the set 25-22. Burnham led Duquesne with four kills.
SET 5: The Billikens held the advantage for the set's entirety, taking a 15-8 victory.
