QUICK RECAP:The Duquesne volleyball team played through four sets, however Danielle Rygelski's match-high 23 kills and 11 digs would lead Saint Louis to a 3-1 victory over the Dukes Friday night.
Molly Davet recorded a double-double of 10 kills and 19 assists, and Liz Wayne led the Dukes with 11 kills and a .556 hitting-percentage. Duquesne is now 16-7 for the season, going 6-2 in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
SET 1:Saint Louis went on an 8-0 run to pull away with a 25-10 set victory, with Rygelski leading all players at seven kills and four digs.
SET 2:Four unanswered points allowed the Dukes to take the lead at 11-9, leaving Saint Louis trailing for the remainder of the set. Davet had four kills and eight digs in Duquesne's 25-21 set victory.
SET 3:Eight ties occurred before the Billikens would take a 25-23 set win. Davet and Wayne combined for nine kills, with Rygelski recording eight kills for Saint Louis.
SET 4: A 7-1 run lifted the Billikens to a 25-14 set victory. Davet had a set-high five assists, while Wayne and Abbie Trzeciak combined for six kills.
