QUICK RECAP: Katie O'Connor's goal in the 85th minute broke a 2-2 tie as the Duquesne women's soccer team completed a weekend New Jersey road sweep after defeating Princeton 3-2 on Sunday afternoon. Malea Fabean tied the match twice with a pair of goals and Kyra Murphy made eight saves in the win.

In the 27th minute, Princeton's Tyler Lussi chipped in the ball off assists from Nicole Loncar. The Dukes would answer in the 41st minute on Fabean's first career goal. She chipped in the ball after Katie O'Connor set up Caroline Lacy who got around the Tigers' defender to find Fabean.

It only took 40 seconds into the 2nd half before Princeton regained the lead. Jesse McDonough, and Mikaela Symanovich worked the ball to the Tigers' Mimi Asom who beat Murphy on a one-on-one. Fabean made the match level once again in the 77th minute off a Caroline Lacy free kick that was punched out by Tigers keeper Hannah Winner, but headed in by Fabean. The match-winner came from O'Connor in the 85th minute when she worked around the Princeton defenders and converted her shot across the box.

COACH ALVINE QUOTE: "I couldn't be more proud of of the effort and resilience our team demonstrated today under difficult circumstances . To be down in the game twice and having the fortitude to keep battling until the game was won was really something special. We didn't play our best game today, but we made up for it with heart and character. Sometimes that's enough when your playing a quality team on the road."

UP NEXT: The Dukes return home to face UC Santa Barbara on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
