PITTSBURGH - Tyler Kalinoski scored 21 of his 32 points in the first half as first-year Atlantic 10 member Davidson clinched the regular-season conference title with a 107-78 win over Duquesne at Palumbo Center.

Jordan Barham added 20 and Jack Gibbs had 19 for Davidson, which hit a Palumbo Center record-tying 20 3-pointers. The Wildcats shot 61.5 percent in extending their winning streak to nine and clinching the top seed at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship at Brooklyn's Barclays Center (March 11-15).

Micah Mason hit five 3-pointers in leading Duquesne with 17. Dominique McKoy added 15.

Duquesne, which saw its home win streak snapped at four, will be the No. 11 seed and will face No. 14 Saint Louis on Wednesday, March 11 at 9:00 p.m. in Brooklyn (PCNC-TV locally).

Davidson hit seven of its first 10 shots but could not manage any separation as TySean Powell (12 points) and McKoy combined for 18 of DU's first 30 points.

It was then that the Wildcats caught fire, breaking a 30-30 tie by hitting five of six shots to begin a 25-3 run that made it 55-33 at the half.

Kalinoski, who went 8-of-10 from 3-point, had five 3-pointers in an opening 20 minutes that saw the Wildcats assist on 18 of 20 field goals. Davidson assisted on 35 of 40 field goals for the game - one shy of the A-10 record.

Davidson hit 11 of its last 14 shots of the half, including five 3-pointers in the last 5:08.

The Wildcats hit their first six shots of the second half to up the lead to 31. The `Cats didn't miss until the score was 70-39.

Davidson reached the 100-point mark with 3:48 left.

Duquesne heads to Brooklyn Monday afternoon for the Atlantic 10 Championship.

NOTES

• The loss snapped a four-game home winning streak for Duquesne.

• Duquesne shot 8-of-20 from the arc (40.0%) against a Davidson defense which entered the game second in the A-10 in 3-point field goal defense at 28.6 percent.

• Davidson tied the Palumbo Center record for 3-pointers made with 20 in 36 attempts ... the Wildcats share the mark with Ohio U which went 20-of-44 in a 96-91 loss to DU on Jan. 7, 2004 ... the Wildcats assisted on 35 of 40 field goals ... the assist total was one shy of the Atlantic 10 record set by Xavier against Long Island on Dec. 8, 2001 ... the total also tied the Palumbo Center high set by the Dukes against Howard on Nov. 9, 2007.

Micah Mason went 5-of-7 from 3-point in scoring a team-high 17 points ... it was his eighth career game with five or more 3-pointers (6th at Duquesne).

• Davidson's 107 points were the most scored in regulation against the Dukes since a 111-87 Rhode Island win at Palumbo Center on Feb. 11, 2007 ... Virginia Tech defeated the Dukes 116-108 in double overtime in an NIT game at Blacksburg, Va. on March 18, 2009.

• There were five ties and one lead change before Jordan Barham gave Davidson the lead for good on a layup that made it 32-30 with 7:42 left in the first half ... Davidson's largest lead was 34 (103-69) with 1:25 left.
