QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne women's soccer team opened the 2014 home slate with a hard-played 0-0 tie against Buffalo at Rooney Field on Friday evening. The match was evenly-played with the Bulls taking 14 shots and the Dukes 13. The best Duquesne scoring opportunity was in the 59th minute when Kahli Hale's free kick from 25 yards out hit the post. Keeper Devon Tabata recorded her ninth career shutout to move into fourth place all-time in program history.

Duquesne is now 11-7-3 all-time in Rooney Field home openers.

UP NEXT: The Dukes host Niagara on Sept. 5th. Kickoff starts at 8:00 p.m. at Rooney Field and is the back half of a double header with the men's team.
