QUICK RECAP: St. Bonaventure's Brittany Charles scored 2:30 into overtime to lift the Bonnies to a 1-0 victory over Duquesne on Saturday afternoon.

The Dukes first scoring chance came with 21 minutes left in the 2nd half, Linnea Faccenda corralled the ball five yards away from the goal, but a pair of Bonnies defenders were able to cover for the out-of-position keeper to deflect her shot.

St. Bona almost got on the board with nine minutes to play, but Dukes keeper Devon Tabata stopped a redirected shot at close range for the save. SBU almost scored with five seconds in regulation when Charles broke through two defenders, but Tabata was able to get her hand on the ball.

However, early in the extra period, Charles connected on a direct kick to give St. Bonaventure the victory.

UP NEXT: The Dukes remain on the road to visit George Mason on Oct. 17th.
