STOCKTON, Calif. - The Duquesne volleyball team recorded its first loss of the season after Army took a 3-2 (26-24, 23-25, 25-23, 28-26, 15-13) decision on Friday night at the Bankers Classic hosted by the University of the Pacific.

Sara Scheirman recorded a double-double of a match-high 21 kills and 23 digs as did Nicole Wright with 13 kills and 12 digs and Allison Foschia with 12 kills and 13 digs.

Patti Abshire led DU with 25 digs and Taylor Jones recorded 52 assists for the Dukes who fall to 4-1 on the season.

The Dukes will play two times on Saturday - starting with Mississippi State at 1:00 p.m. followed by the host Tigers at 10:00 p.m.
