Duquesne University senior rower Taylor Shannon (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem) has been named to the 2011 Atlantic 10 Women's Rowing Academic All-Conference Team.

Shannon, a communication studies major, was recently named to the 2011 Atlantic 10 All-Championship Second Team. She competed on the Dukes' Varsity 8 boat which finished fourth in its heat at the Atlantic 10 Championship. She was also a member of the Varsity 8 which placed fifth in its heat at the Knecht Cup in Cherry Hill, N.J. Shannon has been a member of the Dean's List, Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Duquesne's Director of Athletics Honor Roll every semester.
