Women's Soccer Falls to St. Bonaventure 2-1

OLEAN, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure's Janelle Taylor broke a 1-1 tie in the 63rd minute to lead the Bonnies to a 2-1 victory over the Duquesne women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon at McGraw-Jennings Field.

SBU scored the first goal of the match as Courtney Hoenicke crossed a ball from the right side finding Molly Curry who beat Dukes' keeper Devon Tabata.

The Dukes would tie the score five minutes later as Morgan Herbert scored off a rebound from Paige Maroney's shot from 35 yards out.

But, 11 minutes later, Taylor got the game-winner off a cross from Brittany Charles.

The Dukes (2-9-1, 0-1-1 A-10) return home to face Saint Louis on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and Charlotte on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. for Senior Day.
