AMBLER, Pa. - Temple's Karly O'Toole connected on a penalty kick in the 69 minute to break a scoreless tie and lead the Owls to a 1-0 victory over the Duquesne women's soccer team on Friday afternoon.
The Dukes fired 10 shots at TU keeper Tara Murphy - three by Paige Maroney - but DU could not find the back of the net as Murphy turned away five of the shots.
With the loss, the Dukes fall to 3-13-1 overall and 2-6-0 in Atlantic Conference play.
Duquesne will remain in Philadelphia to take on Saint Joseph's in the regular season finale on Sunday afternoon.
